Mr. Matthews is currently Chairman of Great American Title of Houston, which is the fourth largest title company in Houston, Texas. Mr. Matthews started the company in 2006 with five employees and has grown the company to now over 150 employees. Prior to starting the title company, Mr. Matthews owned and operated the #1 Top Producing RE/MAX Legends Team for 25 years. Additionally, Mr. Matthews is a partner in Peron Development, which has developed 20 subdivisions in the Houston Area. Mr. Matthews previously served on the board of directors of Partners Bank of Texas, Commercial State Bank, and on the local board for First Financial. He also founded the Ronnie and Cathy Matthews Charitable Foundation in 2015, and has since given over $2 million to charitable causes.
